Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, the supply of goods, and installation services provided by Quest Carpet & Flooring, a trading style of Bloomfield Goodman House Ltd.

1. Quotations
• All quotations are provided free of charge unless otherwise agreed.
• Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
• Any additional work or changes requested after acceptance of the quotation may result in additional charges.

2. Surveys
• Measurements provided by customers are accepted at the customer's own risk.
• Where necessary, Quest Carpet & Flooring may carry out a site survey before confirming the final quotation.

3. Products
• Product colours, patterns and finishes may vary slightly from printed samples, brochures, photographs or digital displays due to manufacturing processes and screen settings.
• All products are subject to availability from our suppliers.

4. Installation
• Installation dates are estimates and are subject to availability.
• We will make every reasonable effort to complete the work on the agreed date but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, adverse weather, traffic disruption or other unforeseen events.

5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
• Safe and reasonable access to the property is available.
• Rooms are cleared of furniture and personal belongings where agreed before installation.
• Fragile or valuable items are removed prior to installation.
• Electricity and other necessary utilities are available where required.
Additional charges may apply if extra preparation work is required before installation can begin.

6. Payment
• Full payment is required when placing an order unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Materials will not be ordered, and installation will not be scheduled until payment has been received in full.
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed before work begins.

7. Cancellations
• Cancellation requests should be made as soon as possible.
• Orders for bespoke, made-to-order or special-order products cannot usually be cancelled or refunded once they have been ordered from our suppliers.
• Any costs already incurred by Quest Carpet & Flooring may be charged to the customer.

8. Liability
• Quest Carpet & Flooring will exercise reasonable skill and care when supplying goods and carrying out installation services.
• Our liability is limited to the value of the goods and services supplied, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

9. Force Majeure
Quest Carpet & Flooring shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier shortages, transport disruption, severe weather, industrial action, or other unforeseen events.

10. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.

11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
